उपभोक्ता की आय में वृद्धि होने के साथ-साथ निम्नस्तरीय घटिया वस्तु की मांग भी कम होने लगती हैं।

 उपभोक्ता की आय एवं निम्न स्तरीय घटिया वस्तुओं की मांग में विपरीत संबंध होता है । अर्थात मांग वक्र बाएं से दाएं ऋणात्मक ढाल वाला होता है।

निम्न स्तरीय या घटिया वस्तुओं के संदर्भ में उपभोक्ता की आय बढ़ने पर उपभोक्ता इन का उपभोग बन्द कर देता है या कम कर देता है।

Answer: Low-level (substandard) or inferior good'   items are those which are generally not consumed by any rich person. Such as coarse grains, vegetable ghee, pom oil, other items of low grade.

 With the increase in consumer income, the demand for low-end substandard goods also starts to decrease.

  There is an inverse relationship between the income of the consumer and the demand for substandard goods. That is, the demand curve has a negative gradient from left to right.

 In the case of low-level or inferior goods, the consumer stops or reduces their consumption when the income of the consumer increases.
