2. आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता का अभाव :- समाजवादी अर्थव्यवस्था में आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता का अभाव पाया जाता है । क्योंकि उत्पत्ति संबंधी निर्णय सरकार या समाज द्वारा लिया जाता है।
3. कीमत तंत्र का नग्णय प्रभाव :- समाजवादी अर्थव्यवस्था में मांग एवं पूर्ति की शक्तियां स्वतंत्र रूप से कार्य नहीं करती, क्योंकि सरकार द्वारा निर्णयों से आर्थिक क्रियाएं प्रभावित होती है।
4. पूर्ण प्रतियोगिता की अनुपस्थिति :- समाजवादी अर्थव्यवस्था में पूर्ण प्रतियोगिता का अभाव पाया जाता है।
