निदर्शन विधि का वर्णन करते हुए उसके गुण दोष एवं उपयोगिता बताइए।
निदर्शन अनुसंधान विधि में समग्र की समस्त इकाइयों का अध्ययन नहीं किया जाता इस विधि के अंतर्गत संपूर्ण समग्र में से कुछ ऐसे नमूने या सैंपल निदर्शन चुन लिए जाते हैं जो समूचे समग्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। इन चुने हुए निर्देशों का अध्ययन करके ही समग्र के लिए निष्कर्ष निकाला जाता है।
इस विधि को न्यादर्श, निदर्शन या प्रतिदर्श या प्रतिचयन या सैंपल विधि भी कहते हैं
निदर्शन विधि के गुण
1. मितव्ययिता- यह विधि मित्तव्ययी है। इसमें समय, धन एवं श्रम की बचत होती है।
2. उपर्युक्त - निदर्शन विधि विस्तृत अध्ययन क्षेत्र से संबंधित निष्कर्ष निकालने में उपयोगी एवं उपयुक्त होती है।
3. वैज्ञानिक - निदर्शन विधि वैज्ञानिक भी है क्योंकि समग्र में से दूसरा निर्णय लेकर परिणामों की शुद्धता की जांच भी की जा सकती है।
4. सरल विधि - निदर्शन विधि सरल है जिसे आसानी से समझा भी जा सकता है।
5. शीघ्र निष्कर्ष - निदर्शन विधि से निष्कर्ष जल्दी एवं आसानी से निकाले जा सकते हैं।
निदर्शन विधि के दोष या सीमाएं
1. न्यादर्श चुनने में कठिनाई - निदर्शन रीती में प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाली न्यादर्श के चुनाव करने में अनेक कठिनाइयां उपस्थित होती है।
2. अत्यधिक सतर्कता की आवश्यकता - निदर्शन रिती में अत्यधिक सावधानी बर्तनों की आवश्यकता होती है।
3. कुशल व्यक्तियों की आवश्यकता - निदर्शन रिति का प्रयोग केवल विशेषज्ञ व्यक्तियों द्वारा ही किया जा सकता है।
4. उच्च स्तरीय शुद्धता का अभाव - निदर्शन नीति में बहुत ही उच्च स्तरीय शुद्धता की जहां अपेक्षा होती है, वहां के लिए उपयुक्त नहीं है।
5. भ्रामक निष्कर्ष - न्यादर्श के चयन में यदि सतर्कता नहीं बढ़ती जाए तो निष्कर्ष भ्रम पूर्ण हो सकते हैं।
