सावधि जमा खाते में प्राय हो एक निश्चित अवधि ( लगभग 46 दिन से 3 वर्ष या उससे अधिक हो सकती है) के लिए रकम जमा करवाई जा सकती है रकम जमा करते समय एक जमा रसीद मिलती है जिस पर रकम जमा होने की तारीख रकम निकालने की तिथि तथा रकम और ब्याज की दर लिखी होती है यह जमा रसीद अपरिवर्तनीय होती है।
What are Fixed Deposits?
Amount can be deposited in fixed deposit account usually for a fixed period (about 46 days to 3 years or more). At the time of depositing the amount, a deposit receipt is received on which the date of deposit is mentioned for withdrawing the amount. Date, amount and rate of interest are written on it. This deposit receipt is irreversible.
