उपभोग व्यय पर आय का अधिक्य बचत कहलाता है। बचत प्रवति या बचत क्रिया का प्रत्यक्ष संबंध आय से हे जब आय बढ़ती है , तो बचत मैं भी वृद्धि होगी और जब आय घटती जाती है तो बजत में कमी आ जाएगी । बचत तथा उपभोग में विपरीत संबंध पाया जाता है।

When income increases, savings will also increase and when income decreases, budget will decrease.  There is an inverse relationship between savings and consumption
