MEC = प्रत्याशी आय / लागत
अनुमानित आय तथा पूर्ति कीमत के मूल्य को ज्ञात करने के बाद पूंजी की सीमांत क्षमता का अनुमान उस बट्टा दर के रूप में लगाया जा सकता है जो इन दोनों धारणाओं के मूल्यों को बराबर करती।
