कर क्या है इसकी विशेषताएं लिखिए?

कर का अर्थ - कर प्राप्तियां वे प्राप्तियां हैं जो सरकार कर तथा शुल्क लगाकर अर्जित करती हैं

कर की विशेषताएं-

1. पर एक अनिवार्य अंशदान है ।

2. कर से होने वाली आय का उपयोग सामान्य हित के लिए किया जाता है ।

3. सरकार करदाता को कर के बदले में कोई विशेष लाभ नहीं प्रदान करती।

4. कर वस्तुओं तथा संपत्ति पर लगाया जाता है परंतु इसका भुगतान व्यक्ति ही करते हैं यह उनका निजी कर्तव्य माना जाता है।

5. करो में करदाता को त्याग करना पड़ता है ,किंतु यह प्रतिफल रहित त्याग है । कर सेवा का लागत मूल्य नहीं है।

6. करारोपण वैधानिक सत्ता पर आधारित और निर्धारित होता है।
