व्यापार शेष या व्यापार संतुलन का संबंध व्यापार की केवल दृश्य मदों से है किसी देश के कुल दृश्य निर्यात एवं कुल दृश्य आयात के मूल्य में जितना अंतर होता है उसे उस देश का व्यापार शेष कहा जाता है । दृश्य मदे में भौतिक वस्तुएं जैसे कपड़ा, मशीन, सीमेंट आदि शामिल है।
