वह दर जिस पर एक मुद्रा का दूसरे मुद्रा में विनिमय किया जाता है उसकी विनिमय दर कहलाती है।

दूसरे शब्दों में विदेशी विनिमय दर यह बताती है कि किसी देश की मुद्रा की एक इकाई के बदले में दूसरे देश की मुद्रा की कितनी काया मिल सकती है।
