केंद्रीय बैंक का सदस्य बैंक के लिए समाशोधन ग्रह का कार्य करता है । केंद्रीय बैंक के समाशोधन गृह कार्य का अर्थ है वह विभिन्न बैंकों के एक दूसरे के लेनदेन न्यूनतम नगदी के साथ निपटा देती है । क्योंकि प्रत्येक बैंक के कोष तथा खाते केंद्रीय बैंक के पास होते हैं इसलिए केंद्रीय बैंक के लिए यह तर्कपूर्ण तथा सरल कदम है।
Define clearing house.

The clearing house function of the central bank means that it settles the transactions of different banks with each other with minimum cash. Since the funds and accounts of each bank are with the central bank, it is a logical and simple move for the central bank.
