रेपो रेट ब्याज की वह दर होती है जिस पर भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को धनराशि व्यापारिक बैंकों को उधार देता है । राष्ट्र में लोगों का बैंकिंग प्रणाली में विश्वास कायम रखने की दृष्टि से व्यापारिक बैंक अपनी तरलता स्थिति को सुदृढ़ में व्यवस्थित करने के लिए प्रायः भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक से धनराशि उधार लेते रहते हैं।

What is repo rate?

 Repo rate is the rate of interest at which the Reserve Bank of India lends money to commercial banks. In order to maintain the confidence of the people in the banking system in the country, commercial banks often borrow money from the Reserve Bank of India to strengthen their liquidity position.
