उत्तर - संख्यात्मक तथ्यों को चर कहते हैं । चर वह संख्यात्मक इकाई है जो मात्रा तथा आकार में घटता बढ़ता रहता है जैसे व्यक्तियों की आयु, लंबाई ,वजन ,आय, मूल्य ,मजदूरी ,प्राप्तांक इत्यादि।
